Its took me 8 years and 6 month to finally tender my resignation. Is it scary? Of course. Both the hubs and I had a talk about me relocating near him. We have both discussed everything in full length; the pros and the cons. Earlier, we had decided to just go with the flow as we are still trying to fight and live with the ongoing pandemic. Then, a second wave hit us – very badly.
That’s when I have decided to update my resume and started to change my LinkedIn profile to “Open for Opportunity/Work” and I have chosen the location as near as possible to the husband. Its was very intimidating at first. I was demotivated many times and keep on saying to hubs that I’m about to give up. Thankfully, hubs is very understanding and keep motivating me to continue job-hunting. His endless encouragement finally resulted in fruitful outcome.
I think I have applied almost hundred if not more job’s application. Few just directly ignored my emails and few did replied with rejection. The thought of just resigning without any stand-by job as a backup did come up to me. As long I no longer live far away from the husband. Fortunately, it doesn’t need to come up to that point. As much as I need to be near with my other half, I also understand the burden and responsibility and how its going to affect us financially.
Apart from moving closer to be with the husband, I also manage to secure a job that I love doing – marketing. This is something that I have been wanting to venture for quite awhile now. Here are some short vlog during my last week working. Hope you guys enjoy!
I’m currently under home quarantine until my RT-PCR and RTK-ag swab test results come out. The RTK-ag came out negative yesterday and I’m so thankful. Hopefully everything is well and I will be release soon. I will surely share my experience travelling while CMCO and how is the process and so on. Please stay tune!
Thanks for reading! Till then x
