If you asked me 6 months ago if I believe that I can exclusively breastfeed my baby, I would say that “I have my doubts…” or “I don’t think I can…”. I was very open from the beginning to give my baby a formula milk in case I don’t have enough milk supply or in any way that I don’t think that I can breastfeed my baby. Fast forward to 6 months later, I managed to exclusively breastfeed my baby and enjoy (finally!) the process.
At 3 months phase, I have decided to gave up on pumping because it was very time consuming. I was aware that once I gave up pumping, I will be responsible for my baby days and nights. There will be no rest for this momma. At first it was hard, but eventually I get used to it. Even when we are out and about, I will still breastfeed my son, let it be in public or in the designated area for breastfeeding momma.
My next mission is to continue breastfeed my son, at least until he is two years old or until we are ready to wean off from the great comfort of the boobies. Tehee. I mean, I do find pleasure knowing that my son preferred me over his daddy because he loves me (i.e my boobie) more. Sometimes, I do feel my husband envious glare over my advantages (i.e hello bewbs) LOL

Here’s to more breastfeeding journey! x
